Happy New Year!

I've changed my plans 4 times tonight. What to do, what to do? It doesn't feel like the last day of 2004. It doesn't feel like the end of the year. It doesn't even feel like winter! So should I treat tonight as I would any other night of the year? Maybe. I've never been a big fan of new year's eve celebrations and I don't see why this year will be different. So I'm not going to make it so. I will impart absolutely no effort to do anything special tonight. It's working so far. Well there's still a few hours left so who knows how true this will be when the night ends. Sorry for changing my mind so many times and being non-committal tonight, guys..hahaha.

2004 has been a great year. Lots of life changes - I graduated, got licensed, travelled far, bought a car, attended some amazing concerts, started working in the Real World, and of course, most importantly, experienced a lot of personal growth and development. The one relationship I feel that has developed the most is the one I have with my sister. It's so hard to believe that we've grown so close in the past year. We actually talk now. And we've significantly decreased our fights down from an average of 1 every 2 days to maybe 1 every week...and even that 1 is nothing compared to the arguments we used to have. I mean, there's considerably less screaming, cussing, crying, and punching...haha. Seriously, I am so happy that we can actually talk civilly. Yea!

2004 is also a year that I'll remember as being very fun. I think I've relaxed a lot over the last several years...I am realizing that enjoying the moment is one of the most important ways to enjoy life. This year, I really really tried to be less anal =)

Here's hoping 2005 will also be a good one :)
